Halloween Safety Tips

Halloween offers spooky fun and a spark to the imagination, yet it also presents unique risks for children and teens, for example, pedestrian injuries are more common on Halloween than on any other night of the year!

To keep your family safe on Halloween this year, follow these safety tips:

Costume Safety:

????? ? Choose costumes that are visible at night, use bright colors, reflective tape or glow sticks.

????? ? Ensure costumes fit properly to avoid tripping and falling hazards.

????? ? If wearing a mask, make sure it doesn't obstruct your vision (consider face paint instead).

Trick-or-Treating:
