Welcome to the August edition of our Donkey Republic newsletter! As we bid farewell to August and say hi to September, we're here to share all the thrilling updates from the past month.

?? Donkey Republic published half-year Report 2023
Exciting news – our Half-year report for 2023 is out and ready to be explored! ??
We've got some fantastic updates to share about Donkey Republic's performance. Brace yourselves: Our revenue growth has doubled impressively, skyrocketing by a whopping 118% in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022. ?? And that's not all – our EBITDA has also turned positive, reaching a remarkable 0.2 million euros in H1-2023, a huge leap from the -1.4 million euros we had in H1-2022. ??
What's even better? Our EBIT guidance for the year 2023 has been revised upwards, showing significant improvement. We're adjusting from a range of negative 2.0-1.8 million euros to a more positive range of negative 1.6-1.3 million euros. That's an impressive boost of 400K-500K euros! ??
Let's break down some highlights from the report:
This awesome progress, which includes doubling our revenue and boosting our contribution margin to over 50%, all while keeping our fixed costs stable, has led us to achieve a positive EBITDA for the first time in our history. This is a major milestone for us and sets us up for continued success. With our profitable operations and more bikes ready to hit the streets, we're well-positioned to stay on track with our growth goals and meet our full-year targets. ??

Our active involvement in Copenhagen Pride Week in August showcased our dedicated support for the cause. Through engaging interactions like pride-themed quizzes and a cycling-themed game, we connected with the community, spreading the spirit of inclusivity. ????♀?
With a firm belief in the impact of everyday choices, Donkey Republic aligned with Copenhagen Pride and translated conviction into action. Our commitment to inclusivity resonates within our team, welcoming all, including LGBTIQA+ members. ??
In select Donkey cities, the "COMETOGETHER" code allowed for a free 30-minute ride, an initiative paralleled by our donation of 5 kr per code used to Pride initiatives. ?????
As Copenhagen Pride 2023 concludes, we express deep gratitude for the journey. Providing complimentary rides through the code fostered community engagement, uniting in support of the LGBTIQA+ community. The impact transcended joy, encompassing tangible contributions.
