Have you had a good year? Let's make 2024 the best year yet!

Hello everyone!

This will be the last business tips newsletter until next year. 2023 has been a fantastic year for ActionCoach Buckingham and for me personally. I have met some fantastic people at many local networking events and have been privileged to help many business owners grow their businesses. I have enjoyed running all the business growth events in person and online and hope to run many more into the new year.

One of my goals is to continue bringing together local business owners so they can mutually support each other and refer each other. If you've come to any of my events, you'll know I always encourage everyone who attends to share their details, get to know each other and connect afterwards. Being a business owner can be lonely so it is hugely important to me that connections are made in my business community and we are all there for each other. The one thing we must all embrace is to continue learning, and we can do that in spades by learning from each other.

I hope you've all made time for some Christmas fun! Even if you have just 1 member of staff, have you made time for a get-together out of work to celebrate the year and thank your staff? Even if you cannot book a table or party at this late stage, why not get in some mince pies and mulled wine to the office and cut the day short next week one night? Small gestures like this go a long way in making your staff happy. Your staff are your biggest asset, especially in smaller companies, so taking just a little time out with them makes all the difference.

I ran a webinar earlier in the week for business owners who want to double their profit. I followed this up by emailing everyone lots of helpful information on how they could do this and had some fantastic feedback from those who attended. If you missed this, why not come along to my next free webinar '5 ways to grow your business' on 6th March at 1pm. I promise you will get a lot of ideas on how to improve your profitability and most importantly be incentivised on how you're going to do this.

I think looking back on the year, I have most enjoyed running my '6 steps to grow your business' events. These are networking seminars, running in Aylesbury, Buckingham and Leighton Buzzard. I've met some very interesting people along the way, and connected with many more as a result. Those who have come along have really enjoyed the events (the pastries and great coffee help, too!) and everyone has benefitted from all the extra information they've been sent after the event.
