Hale Engineering's Spring Newsletter

We've had a busy start to spring here at Hale Engineering. This newsletter gives us a chance to take a step back and showcase some of our best projects completed so far this year, as well as highlight our new strategic partnership established recently. With many new and exciting case studies coming up, this is the perfect way to showcase the proud work we have completed, and we're only a quarter of the way through 2024! Lets get started.

SNCR System Engineering Installation

To kick off the year we were excited to share our first case study of 2024 titled "SNCR System Engineering Installation"

In this project, we successfully installed an SNCR (Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction) system and integrated it with our client's Distributed Control System (DCS). The SNCR system is a cutting-edge technology used to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions without the need for catalytic converters. Its precision in emissions control and seamless integration with the client's DCS have significantly enhanced operational efficiency.

This project highlighted our proficiency to detail and how we could help you with a potential upgrade.

Team photo

We had a brilliant team building day in January where we completed Moriarty's Game and the Crystal Maze. The team-building event was filled with challenges that tested our physical, mental, skill, and problem-solving abilities. It was a fantastic day, and all our teams performed brilliantly.

Events like these play a crucial role in strengthening bonds within our company while providing a fun-filled experience for all involved.

Thank you to the team for being part of our Hale Engineering family and for contributing to our collective success.

Upgrading Siemens PLC In a Drum Filling System

With the arrival of February came our next case study: 'Upgrading Siemens PLC in a Drum Filling System'.

We completed this upgrade for Moove Lubricants Ltd in Kent. Our team successfully upgraded their outdated Siemens PLC, overcoming challenges and delivering a state-of-the-art control panel that prioritises safety, efficiency, and diagnostics.

This project was a significant success, especially considering that the team executed the upgrade without an electrical diagram for reference. Through reverse engineering of the panel, the team upgraded the system using the latest technology.

Lamination press renewal: Hale Engineering upgrades existing machinery to save costs on replacement

In March we completed an upgrade for a client's lamination press, avoiding the need for a costly replacement. Our project involved rewriting software to ensure smooth functionality of new tools with the existing machine. At Hale Engineering, we prioritise creativity and safety in our solutions, with rigorous testing to guarantee optimal performance.
