Hai Robotics and Tuskrobots Debut New Automation Technologies at CeMAT Asia 2024
CeMAT ASIA 2024, held in November at the Shanghai Shanghai New International Expo Centre(SNIEC) , showcased the latest innovations in logistics automation. With more than 800 exhibitors across 80,000 square meters, the event spotlighted advancements in robotics and warehouse management technologies. Among the key participants were Hai Robotics and Guangdong Tuskrobots Co., Ltd , two companies backed by 01VC, each presenting their latest technologies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency in warehouse and pallet handling systems.
Hai Robotics: advancing box storage automation
Hai Robotics, a leader in box storage robotics, used CeMAT Asia 2024 to unveil its HaiPick System 3 and the HaiQ intelligent warehouse management platform. The company also introduced a new high-efficiency workstation designed to streamline order fulfillment and reduce labor costs.
New Workstation Increases Throughput
A central feature of Hai Robotics' offering was the HPS3 solution, an advanced high-density picking system optimized for larger bins. The new workstation enables operators to focus on the picking task itself, reducing manual handling and minimizing physical strain.
The system can process up to 600 boxes per hour, doubling the output without increasing workforce size. The HPS3’s compatibility with large storage bins (up to 850×650mm) allows for more efficient handling of products such as boots, furniture, and electronics, broadening its appeal across industries.
Robotics for Manufacturing Automation
Hai Robotics also highlighted its A3S intelligent lifting robot designed for electronics manufacturing environments.
This robot automates the transfer of goods in and out of storage bins, connecting to production lines and streamlining the flow of materials. Real-time data capture and system integration allow for seamless coordination across operations, improving overall workflow efficiency and traceability.
International Expansion and Growth
According to Liu Jingtao, VP of Hai Robotics, the company is increasingly focused on international expansion. Overseas revenue surpassed 50% in Q3 2024, a testament to the growing demand for its smart logistics solutions. As supply chains face greater volatility, Hai Robotics’ systems offer a way for companies to reduce costs, increase operational efficiency, and improve supply chain resilience.

TUSKROBOTS: Pioneering pallet robotics
Tuskrobots also presented a series of advancements in pallet handling automation, showcasing their latest APR (Automated Pallet Robots) models. With a focus on flexibility and space optimization, Tuskrobots highlighted its ability to handle complex warehouse operations with minimal human intervention.
New Solutions for Nine-Legged Pallets
One of the key highlights from Tuskrobots was the introduction of a new APR robot designed to handle nine-legged pallets. By incorporating a suspension arm design, the new robot addresses long-standing issues related to pallet maneuverability, extending the potential use cases for automated pallet handling in various industries.
High-Capacity, Omnidirectional Pallet Handling
Tuskrobots also debuted an omnidirectional APR model capable of operating in narrow aisles (as small as 1.4 meters wide) and handling payloads up to 1 ton. This robot can move at speeds of up to 1.5m/s, making it suitable for environments with high throughput requirements. The system integrates seamlessly with existing warehouse infrastructure, such as conveyor belts and automated stacking machines, while dual-robot coordination allows for efficient handling of oversized or heavy pallets.
Mixed-Load Efficiency
Tuskrobots' new scheduling algorithm also stood out, enabling its E-series and C-series robots to work in mixed-load scenarios. The robots can handle multiple types of carriers—racks, cages, and pallets—simultaneously within a narrow 1.5-meter aisle. The system maximizes space utilization and minimizes waiting times by predicting and avoiding collisions, thus increasing overall operational efficiency.
Speed and Precision in Pallet Handling
Another significant advancement from Tuskrobots is the introduction of a high-speed APR robot capable of automatically adjusting and realigning misaligned pallets. With a lifting time of just 4.3 seconds and a full cycle time of 20 seconds, the robot sets a new standard for speed and accuracy in pallet handling. This innovation reduces reliance on manual adjustments, cutting down on operational downtime.
The Path Forward for Logistics Automation
Both Hai Robotics and Tuskrobots are advancing the logistics automation sector with solutions designed to tackle the increasing complexity and demand for efficiency in global supply chains. Their products offer tangible improvements in both operational throughput and cost reduction, positioning them as key players in the ongoing evolution of warehouse and pallet management automation. As companies continue to optimize their supply chains, these innovations represent significant steps toward the future of logistics automation.
