Tomorrow we start our 50 mile hike in the Outer Hebrides to support my local Samaritans branch in Essex.
Why 50 miles? Because Shona Nicolson and I turn 50 this year.
Why the Hebrides? Because she's Scottish and it's on my bucket list.
Why ￡2,850? Because that'll keep my branch operating for 50 days.
