The Hadith Encyclopedia

The Hadith Encyclopedia is another great addition to the accomplishments of Jamia Darululoom Karachi. This is a journey of worthwhile and unforgettable efforts, which took 17 years to reach its destination and was started by the advise and mutual consent of great sharia scholars across the globe, who were gathered in Makkah Mukarramah. This is the very first Encyclopaedia of Ahadees in which International Standard numbers has been given to Ahadees through which we will be able to find and give the reference of Ahadees, same as we give the reference of Quran, by just quoting the number of Surah and Ayah.

This noble work has been done under the great supervision and contentious guidance of a very well known Sharia Scholar, our respected and beloved mentor, teacher and Sheikh-Ul-Islam, Hadhrat Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani ???? ????, who has already served enough to this Ummah and whose services for Islam always been written in golden words.

The man who led the work, implemented the ideas, researched and headed the team to which this noble work had been assigned, was Hadhrat Molana Naeem Ashraf Noor Ahmed. He is specialised in Hadith and the teacher of Hadith at Jamia Darululoom Karachi. He has done and issued multiple research based work and books on the topic of Fiqh and Hadith.

This encyclopaedia will not just serve as the Standard Numbers of Ahadees but also provide the data base of thousands of Ahadees including their means and channels which can be counted in hundreds & thousands. By this way, it can be presented in different digital formats and softwares. The encyclopaedia has been prepared with the help of almost 1000 books of Ahadees. This encyclopaedia has been named as "??????? ???????", and will be published by Dar-ul-Qalam (Beruit), most probably, in 50 volumes.
