Hadestown on Broadway – “What The Hell!” – It’s So Worth It!

My friend Robert Stanonis saw a preview performance of Hadestown at the Shelter Island Sylvester Manor and thought it was amazing. Bob offered to share Hadestown when that musical arrived on Broadway with me.
We saw Hadestown at the Saturday May 25, {2019} matinee and found it to be one of the BEST MUSICALS ever - I mean the first thought could be: "How could anyone do a musical about hell?" {Maybe a take from Don Juan In Hell.} Hadestown is spectacular! Andre De Shields and the entire cast were so outstanding. The Walter Kerr Theatre on West 48th Street was the perfect location for the production. The songs and sets were extraordinary! I KNEW Andre De Shields would win a Tony Award as Best Actor in a Musical, and that the production too would garner a Tony Award for Best Musical!
We took the Hampton Jitney that Saturday morning and the 7 p.m. Hampton Jitney home. The ride in both directions was wonderful. It pays to be connected! I'm not sure if you've seen the link below carrying my actual history of Hampton Jitney:
