Hacks Newsletter: To Cleanse or not to Cleanse

I am not a boomerang dieter; I am not a believer in fads. I do believe that a juice cleanse is a healthy way to reset as often as once a month. I don’t typically do three to five-day cleanses, opting instead for a one day juice cleanse, once a month vs. three days in a row of loading up on nutrients and beautiful, expensive colorful bottles of fruit and nuts and.

While I believe a plant-base, gluten, diary and alcohol-free first two weeks of the year is a great way to kick off 2022, I understand that it may not be appealing to all. That said, if you’re even curious, let alone interested, her are my “clean eating and drinking” Hacks for January 2022.

And to see last year’s inaugural edition of Dry January #talkandtaste: The Kombucha edition,?find it on Instagram live here! Kombucha is a fermented tea drink made from green or black tea, sugar, bacteria, and yeast. It is made with a living colony of bacteria called SCOBY (symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast). The drink contains B vitamins, antioxidants, and probiotics and is said to positively impact gut health.

? Cheers to a healthy, happy New Year!
