#Hackersummercamp2019

The name says it all, Place where all the wonderful hackers meet. This year I got the chance to be part of the Hacker summer camp.

This entire trip was like a “Dream Come True” for me. #Hackersummercamp2019 was wonderful and overwhelming for me

  • Blackhat Trainer
  • BSidesLV workshop on web application pentesting
  • Volunteer at Recon Village, Defcon
  • Speaker at AppSec Village, Defcon
  • Supporter Cloud Village and Blockchain Village
  • Speaker at Diana Initiative

The journey started with the Blackhat Trainings on 03rd August, I got to be an assistant trainer for one of the wonderful training i.e Web Hacking Progressive Edition which is an advanced training. I was part of the 4 days training (03-06th August). I got to learn so many things during the training prep and on actual days. Must mention Sunil Yadav and Dhruv Shah, amazing trainers. It was an outstanding experience for me to learn and experience the blackhat trainings.

The most interesting and challenging sections of the training were:- 

  • Cryptography 
  • Cloud Hacking
  • XML Entity Attack

Before the training started, we went to see the training rooms to make sure we are all set for the training Day. Group pic - a day before the Blackhat trainings started.

On 05th of August, I got an invite to attend Cyber Security Women of the Year (CSWY19) Gala Night which had close to 100 members in the room.

 My mentor, #BFF Tanya Janca aka @shehackspurple won the Cybersecurity Women Hacker of the year award

During Blackhat, we planned the brunch with the wonderful ladies Tany Janca, Miriam Wiesner, Sarah Young, Lidia Guiliano.

I also got to volunteer at Wisporg (Women in Security and Privacy) which was yet another wonderful experience. Bringing all different communities together (Infosecgirls, WoSec, owaspwia, wisporg and Women Cyberjutsu)

During the BSides Organisers meet, I got to meet Jack Daniel who is the man behind bsides. Also, I got to represent BSides Delhi along with Saumya Vishnoi.

07th of August, I was invited to be part of one of the BSides Las Vegas(BSides LV) workshop by Chris Hanlon

08th August was a big day, I was nominated for the Women Cybersecurity CyberJutsu awards. “Guess what, I won” which I was never expecting. It was happy and emotional moment. The best part was Tanya was by my side and can't thank her enough for always being there for me. She is an Inspiration and Role Model.

On the 10th Of August, I spoke @Diana Initiative which was a very warm experience. The organisers and the whole team of volunteers was amazing. Also got to meet Chery Biswasl and fl3uryz in person :)
