If you aren't already - optimize your content for the problem/solution barrier - on top of your keyword targeting.

The first step of what will eventually become voice search is google snippets.

Google snippets can jump your search CTR to over 50% - even if you aren't in the top 3.

That's right - top 3 is irrelevant when a search result has a snippet...

Sure you'll still get traffic...but if the snippet answers that question or solves that problem right away...

There goes your traffic.

I'm sure you're thinking "that sounds like a lot of work...I don't want to learn more shit about formatting my articles" or you just think you don't know how to do it.

But here's the awesome bit - Google is smart, right?

It can pick up if you have a list in your article, it can pick up when you're answering questions.

So all you have to do is make minor adjustments in how you write - not worry about all the technical tagging and in-the-weeds stuff.

Just create a headline that's the core question, and answer it in a super simple way just below.

For a great example, search "how to treat dog constipation?".

That shows the image below, and when you click in, you get this site: https://pets.webmd.com/do…/dog-constipation-causes-treatment

All they did was have a headline with most people's question "How Can I Treat My Dog’s Constipation?", followed by a set of bullet points offering solutions.

This works in any market where folks search in the form of a question, like:

"What is a FHA home loan?"

"How often should I post to social media?"

"How to I secure my network?"

"What's a good hardware firewall?"

Any problem that has a solution can - and will - eventually have a snippet like this.
