Life Changing Habits: Make It or Break It

HABITS. It’s one of the key ingredients in achieving your goals and fulfilment of your own aspirations. Good Habits are an undeniably powerful part of life. They're an integral part of your behaviour, something that you do often and consistently, sometimes without knowing that you are doing it subconsciously.

These are my Top 5 Habits that can drastically improve your Life and I feel these habits will help you think and be better.

ONCE UPON A TIME

For me, time is personal. Time is aligned with choices. It goes hand in hand. I cherish it the most. Clearly, time is the best gift I have. I think in life, it is the most treasured possession you can share with others and I feel people need to understand the value of time. Aspirations, goals and plans comes to nothing without time; but when the right amount of time is invested, it goes to life. A vision turns to reality. In the morning, I consider a moment where I don’t deceive myself into thinking that I still have plenty of time and I like how it gives you clarity on what is truly important and a love in the right order of your actions. I believe one should learn to work with time on their hands and don’t settle with time wasters. Set high standards and then go all in.

PROGRESS

For me, progress is a step forward, advancement and development. It takes a lot of patience, hard work and sacrifice. I feel being progressive comes with determination, ability and commitment to faithfully go on your affairs, continue doing your duties and make sure you are really passionate about what you do because it fuels your joy, your inspiration, your energy, strength and perseverance. It's only a matter of time.

DO SOMETHING “NEW” AND SOMETHING “FUN”

This is one of my favourite ever since that has impacted my life. I feel it will touch your life drastically and move you to a whole new level. For me, everyday is a new day, it is a fresh start. All these years, I really enjoy doing new things and not to mentioned the fun in between. Simply fill your heart with gratitude and seize the day, don’t be too hard on yourself, reward yourself by embracing and pursuing choices that makes you happy, day by day. Don’t you think you deserve it?

How does it feel when you feel something new? Do you feel the change within you? Do you choose to embrace the excitement of the new or resist the change? Everyday, challenge yourself to think, feel and do new things, one step at a time, whether its music you listen to, new articles that you read, new people you communicate with, new boundaries you put, new food you taste, new opportunities to explore or try new adventures! Be creative and enjoy it!

I believe planting “different” things in your life is attracting improved results and sense of freedom. People need all this, a leap of faith into the unknown and learn how to fly. How do you know if you never try? Believe me, you are the only one that is capable to make changes for your life. You have abundant supply filling you everyday. It comes from within. It must be felt and discovered. To do something new is a decision and without conditions that sets your destiny.

STILLNESS

I believe true fulfilment in life comes from following your calling and understanding people from their different points of views, opinions and behaviour. For me, stillness is strength from being able to not be moved by anyone or anything and still adapt and adjust along the way.

HABIT-TRACKING

I think it is important to see a full view of life and you can do this in examining, reviewing and reflecting on yourself, only then you will see how important Faith is all about, a strong bond that unites you to the Master planner who is watching and tracking the world all along, the owner of your borrowed time. We should be reminded everyday we, are “stewards” of gifts, blessings, virtues and opportunities, it is our responsibility to grow these talents by going on your own path and take action. It sets you apart. It is your unique flavour and style.

The right people who share the same outlook and values will cross your path and walk the path with you.

It is important to keep in your heart these new habits simply because you need all 5 elements: time, progress, change, stillness and analysis. Clearly, after we repeat this cycle consistently in an important area in our lives, the system reinforces itself and becomes autonomous – leading to improved skills, positive lifestyle changes and more growth in the long run.
