HABITS - MILESTONE FOR A HAPPY LIFE !

We have been hearing about the importance of habits in our lives ever since we were in school. Every one of us has undoubtedly heard the advice "create this as habits if you want to excel” at some point from a teacher, parent, or another authority figure. It’s a fact that approximately 45% of all human Behaviour is habit-driven, our daily actions, thoughts, and feelings are almost all influenced by our habits. But what are habits? How do habits shape our personality? What role do habits play in our professional life??

A few healthy habits mentioned below can contribute to the enhancement of our overall personality:-?

  1. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT?: People don’t develop and acquire habits at the same rate—everyone is different. Set goals for yourself and know your limitations and weaknesses, then work to eliminate them at your own pace.?
  2. START SMALL?: Adopt the “easy mode” version to accomplish your desired habit. Small & easy ways give you small wins that lead to bigger success.?
  3. THE PROCESS IS THE GOAL NOT PERFECTION?: While consistency is key, research has shown that missing one or a handful of opportunities to practice the desired habit will not ruin your chances of establishing that habit in the long run. Just be consistent.?
  4. STOP MINIMISING STRUGGLE, TRY FINDING THE MEANING IN IT : When we struggle with specific projects, we typically attempt to finish them as quickly as possible. However, if we can identify the value that the difficulty brings to our lives, we can then use the struggle rather than let it control us.?
  5. YOUR ATTENTION, NOT YOUR PRESENCE DEFINES YOUR DISCIPLINE : Your quality of being mentally present in any work/place not only adds value to the situation but to your life as well.?
  6. OPTIMIZE FOR LEARNING AND PROGRESS INSTEAD OF STABILITY AND COMFORT : The things that are easiest to do are the things that are hardest to live with. So, seek challenges and find ways to overcome it.?
  7. WE KNOW OTHERS THROUGH THEIR ACTIONS AND WE KNOW OURSELVES THROUGH OUR THOUGHTS : We may have hundreds of plans but, what other sees is the one we are executing, Thoughts are powerful, when they are converted into actions.?
  8. DON’T LET COMFORT MAKE YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU NO LONGER NEED TO TRY?: Happiness is simply a result of slaying your comfort. The more you challenge yourself the shiner you become.?

One such great personality is the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, an inspiration for all innovators.?
