Gus Mojarro, National Director of Warehouse & Safety Operations, personifies leadership at Stone Source. Driven by his own personal story, Gus collaborated with Habitat for Humanity, LA to find enough warehouse space to prepare the Habitat ReStore for what could be their largest donation of natural stone & tile ever.?Over 180,000 square feet of tile (enough for over 1,000 kitchens) required genuine creativity and persistence to ensure the donation was safely and successfully delivered.

Gus directly attributes his success in life and business to the donated home he and his family received in the suburbs of Chicago, IL as a child.?Deeply seeded memories from that experience guide and fuel his drive to give back and constantly do more for the communities in need around him.

Stone Source’s top executives and employees from across the country gave back to the community by participating in a two-day build in South LA with Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Los Angeles Willowbrook neighborhood.

This development features 8 new affordable detached, single-family homes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each home will be approximately 1,000 – 1,150 square feet. Homes will be sustainably built and will include low VOC paints and finishes, low flush /flow plumbing, drought-tolerant landscaping, and solar panels.
