Habeck in Wonderland

Given the actual geopolitical situation and the Israeli carnage in Gaza, no one - including myself - is interested in discussing the last "German Architects Day", where I participated and which was held on 29th September in Berlin. This was a big and well-organized event, with dozens of guest speakers, podium talks, prize prize-giving ceremony, etc. You'll ask me, why I chose to speak about it only now - well, there is an interesting and unexpected connection here. Herr Robert Habeck, the German Vice-Chancellor, was talking at the event as a Federative Minister of Economics and Climate Protection. But he has also given a speech on the situation in Israel - and in Germany. Those, who didn't hear this eloquent speech, can easily find it on YouTube; and those, who thought, that the recent Aiwanger scandal pushed the lower limit of German politics - here you go, the Vice-chancellor beats the record once more.
To summarize and simplify his speech: the existence and prosperity of the Israeli apartheid regime are Germany's priority concerns, antisemitism is back so much so that Jewish kids fear going to the sporting facilities and leave their stars of David at home, ceasefire demonstrations are all islamistic, all Muslims living in Germany are antisemitic, so they should support Israel and seek ways to apologize for the doings of Hamas, the right-wing folks are friends of Putin and also guilty of antisemitism, the left-wing folks are simply too stupid to separate anticolonialism and antisemitism - of which they are guilty, too. Oh, I forgot to mention the threats of stripping people of their residence status and kicking refugees out of the country for their political stance - right from the mouth of the German Vice-Chancellor... I've tagged Herr Habeck here in the post, so if they'll strip me of my residence status and deny me citizenship - you bet, they've read this post and implemented their strategy.
Besides the fact, that this shameless speech exposes all the vices of the German political elite at once and embodies the lowest point of German politics EVER, it also indicates what awaits German citizens in the near future. What's waiting ahead is the rapid loss of civic rights and unimaginable before brutality and cynicism of the elites, which would accompany the deterioration of civic society, first in Germany - as a beacon for the region - and then in the whole of Europe.
But let me ask you this - how many more people from the Gaza population should be exterminated by the current Israeli apartheid regime, for Habeck to stop talking about stars of David left at home? How many eyes, arms, legs - and lives - should Gaza children lose, for him to stop talking about sporting facilities? Does he even understand, that antisemitism exists because he, and the likes of him, are supporting the Israeli apartheid regime and letting them do what they do, for almost 80 years? And does he understand, that the only thing every Jew is now fearing, is that these heinous crimes against humanity would be associated with his or her name? "Not In My Name" has already become a new slogan like "Me Too", and Jews around the world are uniting and getting onto the streets with pro-Palestinian protests - while Herr Habeck delivers yet another portion of Holocaust shaming to Germans, and supporting fanatics, who dream of total extermination of the locals in Gaza and the West Bank.

Anyway, back to the "German Architects Day". Great event, great people. And Herr Habeck, eloquently talking about how architects are brilliant and ingenious, and how they should be pioneers of new living standards and lift society to the heights of sustainability, and save the plummeting building industry - all while his ministry is holding one meeting behind closed doors after another, with people we never heard of. Well, like most of you, I wasn't invited to these meetings, so I'm not sure if they'd be beneficial or not - and that's also not my business. But I can surely tell you from what I have seen during the last years, that unreasonable expectations from the population - be it the marvels of sustainability from architects amidst the energy crisis or support for the Israeli government amidst the ongoing slaughter of Palestinians - have become the visiting card of the ruling elite.
As always, thanks for your time.
