As of now, Ha Nam has 1,259 valid projects, including 413 FDI projects with a registered capital of 6,667.3 million USD and 846 domestic projects with a registered capital of 182,581.7 billion VND. Currently, Taiwan (China), Japan, and South Korea remain the top investor countries in Ha Nam’s industrial parks, contributing significantly to the province’s economic development (Minh, 2025).

These include Dong Van V Industrial Park and Dong Van VI Industrial Park, developed by Western Pacific Joint Stock Company, as well as Kim Bang I Industrial Park, managed by Kim Bang Industrial Park Development and Construction Investment Company Limited.

As outlined in Decision No. 1686/QD-TTg by the Prime Minister, Ha Nam’s development strategy for 2021 – 2030, with a vision extending to 2050, focuses on attracting investments from fields such as artificial intelligence, electronics - semiconductor technology, automation, biotechnology and medicine, new materials technology.

?One notable development is the recently approved $117 million Dong Van V Industrial Park, which aims to become a hub for cutting-edge industries like electronics, biotechnology, and renewable energy.
