H2 Topical School in Liège 27-31 January 2025.
A joint effort in the Grand Est region has been undertaken, particularly through cross-border projects and initiatives led by France at the interface of pedagogy, research, innovation, industrialization, and decarbonation. This collective dynamic is yielding significant results, as evidenced by the numerous events taking place across Lorraine, the ongoing projects, and the many studies, including doctoral research currently in progress.

The consortium of the three ULs (University of Lorraine, University of Luxembourg, and University of Liège) has been entrusted with organizing three complementary and distinct schools to enhance knowledge and skills in the H2 sector for Master’s students, doctoral candidates, and researchers. These events will be enriched by factory visits and exchanges with leading experts in the field.
The University of Liège will host the first school, which will take place in Liège from January 27 to 31, 2025. The program will include keynote speeches by invited experts and site visits. Professor Pierre Dewallef from the University of Liège is in charge of organizing this first edition, with further details to be announced soon.
