Hello and thank you for joining me on another edition of my LinkedIn Newsletter! This week we going to talked about?HOPE.
In a crisis, hope can often be the only thing we can hold onto. Sometimes, there is little to be hopeful for in the fight against certain obstacles, but like with anything, there is always a bright side. It is important that we continue to find hope and positivity, even in the worst circumstances.
Have you ever heard of half-full or half-empty glass?
Have you wondered is the glass half-full or half-empty?

Some people will probably say the glass if half-full. Others may look at it and proclaim that it's half-empty. Since both groups would be correct, which one is you?
Y’all know I’ve switched sides several times on the glass half empty vs. glass half full debate.
I’ve gone from seeing the?glass half empty to seeing the glass half full. Then I embraced a friend’s comment:?There’s always something in the glass.
Loved that perspective. Still do.

But today I’m believing the truth that the glass is always refillable.?
Psychologists use simple tests like this to?determine whether a person tends to be an optimist or a pessimist. Optimists?tend to look on the bright side. They are?hopeful and?search?for the good even in bad situations. Pessimists, on the other hand, tend to be more negative.?
These concepts remind me to one of my peers. We both worked in the financial industry and happened to had a conversation related to work. He mentioned he just started doing recruitment not long ago however no results generated yet. Even so, he never sees it as a setback but as a work in progress. He is constantly adapting, changing his financial planning and recruitment approach style until he finds something better to settle down. Amazing right?
Along with the conversation, all I can say is that his mindset is excellent. He is always ready to listen to people's advice, accept and give out opinions, teach, despite having years experience in sales. His glass is always refillable!! It's neither half-empty or half-full; it's always refillable!
We all face obstacles. However, how we respond?to those obstacles can make all the difference in the world. We should able to see these obstacles as opportunities. Take positive actions and we will expect a positive results.
So, is your glass half empty, half full … or does it need to be refilled?
