What is the difference between gypsum ball mill and ordinary ball mill?
this ball mill for grinding grpsum and ordinary ball mill is not the same, only for grinding grpsum is dry grinidng mill, it can't add water when the machine working.
gypsum ball mill use ceramic liner，common ball mill use casting liner
or steel liner.
ball mill can use for virous kinds of material. that depend on you.
if your finished materials gypsum powder can't contain Fe, it have to using ceramic liner and ceramic balls, if thus the ball mill capacity will reduce, so need to match bigger model than 1200*4500 ball mill.
but if for finished materials mixed Fe which haven't requirement, it is not necessary to use ceramic liner.
if you not mind have some Fe powder mixed the finished materials gypsum powder, it is not need to use ceramic liner and ceramic balls, steel balls and steel liner is ok.
due to ceramic liner and ceramic balls much more expensive than steel balls ans steel liner.

Whole plant flowchart just for reference. From raw material hopper, through belt conveyor feed into ball mill machine, after grinding lifted by bucket elevator into powder classifier. High efficient rotors classifier is professional on 150-250mesh powder classification, widely used for quartz, limestone, gypsum powder separating. Fine powder (qualified products <0.074mm) will be collected and transferred by bucket elevator into storage silo, coarse powder will return to ball mill grinding again. The classifier only can separate our two kinds of products. Fine powder and coarse powder. Powder fineness can be adjusted by electrical cabinet panel, adjust the main unit rotating speed.
