Scroll through social media feeds, and you'll find a kaleidoscope of mouthwatering images, each more tempting than the last. Food has become more than just sustenance; it's an experience—an art form to be savoured, shared, and celebrated.

I often wondered, whether adopting food or cultures alien to us, may adversely affect our bodies or guts or would they bring in more variety to our lives and palate?


The globalization of cuisine has led to a melting pot of flavours. Sushi, once a Japanese delicacy, now graces tables worldwide. Similarly, the humble pizza has been reimagined in countless forms.


We've become slaves to our cravings, mindlessly consuming without regard for nutritional value or moderation. Moreover, social media influencers wield the power to set trends, turning obscure dishes into overnight sensations.?


In another shocking incident, A 10-year-old girl died shortly after eating her birthday cake ordered online.?According to her grandfather, the girl's younger sister and the rest of her family fell sick after consuming the cake. He said the cake was ordered online from a bakery in Patiala. Food cultures alien to the person's DNA tradition certainly affect the person's gut health. Many people will not be able to adjust to massively processed, pesticide- and hormone-induced modern scientific foods for long. This is from personal experience
