A Guru is one who drives the darkness of ignorance in his disciple by clarifying his doubts and thus kindles the light of knowledge and wisdom in him. However a Guru appears only when a disciple is ready to receive knowledge. So we need to first develop that urge to know and find out the truth.
Who are Gurus in HR profession
Mentors – Mentor is one who has sound knowledge and experience in his functional area and shares them with his mentee (employee) in sharpening his knowledge and shaping positive behaviors in him that help him move ahead in his career. Thus it is a relationship based on trust between them.
