A Guru will appear when you are ready

A Guru will appear when you are ready

The difference between a teacher and a guru is - A teacher or a master of any subject is technically and theoretically qualified to impart knowledge to his students. His job is over after transferring the knowledge. A Guru on the other hand besides being qualified is also experienced and realised in the concerned subject. Furthermore, a Guru’s teaching gets over only when his pupil himself becomes a Guru. According to the tradition when you are ready the guru will appear. So you need to prepare by working on yourself through personal transformation.

Gu = darkness Ru = light Guru = One who leads you from the darkness of ignorance to the light of true knowledge. In Indian traditions there are many levels a teacher can attain: Adhyapak - disseminates information.

Upadhyay = Disseminates knowledge and information.

Acharya = Disseminates skills.

Pundit = Disseminates deep insights.

Guru = Disseminates wisdom.

As per Hinduism is concerned Guru plays a vital role in the Guru-Shishya tradition. It is the heritage and culture of India. Guru is the one who imparts the knowledge of brahman to the Shishya (student) by means of a structured initiation ceremony. The Guru takes responsibility of the spiritual progress of the student. The teachings of the Guru ultimately leads the student to the highest possible state of consciousness.

There are six types of mental dirt which obscure your true nature - start getting rid of them:–

kāma – selfish desire - cultivate more consideration of others and stop thinking you are the center of the universe.

krodha – the emotional response to frustrated desires and expectations - cultivate more patience, forbearance and compassion.

moha – cognitive distortions i.e. identifying with mind/body – cultivate the sense that you are the ātman and not the body and develop non-attachment.

mada – arrogance - thinking you are better than others – cultivate more humility and recognise and acknowledge the virtues of even your enemies.

lobha – greed i.e. not sharing your surplus resources with others - cultivate more generosity.

mātsara – malicious envy of others – cultivate more empathetic joy and happiness for the achievements of others.

Once you start making progress on eliminating these 6 enemies your guru will appear - but maybe not in the form you imagine. This is the basic framework of a Spiritual Life. A guru is a teacher who helps you see the best in your self both physically and spiritually! There used to be a point in time when in Satyug, mostly people were evolved enough and didn’t need guru! But with time humans have fallen in there consciousness and reached a point where they are unable to understand themselves! That’s when the role of a guru came into existence!

Guru is one who has experienced the negative gravitation plasma-induced cold fusion with the nuclei of the universe and the resultant liquid drop energy.

????????????????????????? ??????????? Paramanu Param Mahatatva anto Vashikar

Up on Ultimate Knowledge of Atomic Particles Formulas Control is obtained

??? ???????? ??????? Yoga Sūtra Aani Paatanjali, Fusion Technology For Liquid Drop Energy Reactor.

He has learned the governing principles of one common method of fusion (yoga) with diverse elements of nature universe, and thereby gained instant access to the universal database of knowledge, even without a formal education. He is selfless as he had to shed personal ego - gravitation before he became Guru. He has used his gain of knowledge of oneness to benefit all beings. Guru is someone who will inspire & guide you to reach the right destination in the most efficient & pragmatic way. He must have some qualities like the clarity of thoughts, clear vision. Simultaneously the Guru must acknowledge conflicts & embrace challenges from his followers, willing to accept behaviour and beliefs that are different, free from prejudice.

A guru must not skip the questions from his followers & impose his notion of beliefs. Furthermore, it is needless to pretend to be a know-it-all person, he can learn from his followers even. A self-righteous plaster saint should not be considered as a Guru. He must understand the mission of each individual & guide them accordingly. Wearing saffron/white robe can make you a self-proclaimed Preacher, Yogi or Sanyasi but it doesn't make anyone a Guru. It's not about the colour of your dress, its about the wisdom of your mind that makes you a Guru(same for Yogi/ Sanyasi even). And most importantly, a Guru should make future Gurus not followers only who will eventually lead the future. These are the traits that make an ideal Guru in all Ism.

Guru means heavy, weighty or grave. Indeed gravity and gurutva ( heaviness) are cognates. However this is not the meaning of guru that most people would identify with. The most common usage of the word is to refer to an accomplished preceptor. He is highest grade among preceptors. Adhyapaka, Upadhyaya , Acharya and Guru are in ascending order of accomplishment. A guru is not merely a teacher but also a trainer , a guide, a moulder , an influencer and a moral compass for his students. He lives with his students in the residential school known as Gurukul and shares his life with them.

Guru sakshatha parabrahma, Guru himself is parabrahma. Akhand mandalkaram vyaptanena characharam, thathapadam dharshitha yena thasmasri Guru ve namaha, Means in every staavar and Jangam he show you god. Now guru is dwarf, he show you hell. Now guru is normal, he show you earth. Now guru is tall, he show you heaven. Now guru is show you god or Ishwar. Now guru show you Brahma. Now guru show you atma. Now guru show you moksha. Now guru gives a draft copy to attain moksha “ dharma artha kaama moksha”. Hence Guru is parabrahma.

A Guru was required in the early years of sanatana Dharma which is popularly known now as Hinduism because there were no books , media to exchange ideas ask doubts etc . Today there are very few Gurus who are knowledgeable in ancient scriptures and modern scientific discoveries . When Gurus talk about Gods travelling over Garuda , Bull ,Mouse etc without understanding the hidden meaning one looses heart . Some gurus comfortably say that they do not believe in puranas and evade the explanations . The old scriptures mostly pray to the nature like rain, wind, fire etc as substitute Gods for the invisible Brahmam and that old practice they continue to encourage .

Hinduism has taken a change even in Mahabharata time. Even God Vishnu’s Avatar Lord Krishna in his younger days told people there is no need to pray to Indra, Varun etc and worship Him only and protected people by lifting the mountain against incessant rain . But the old practice continues in corners. The foundation of Hinduism is detachment, helping others, treating all people same way since part of God is in every soul which is with every person are almost forgotten and other religions took over some of it.

There are lot of philosophy on the invisible one God Parabrahmam who divided Himself into 330 million creators of Galaxies out of which we know 3 nearby Galaxies whose creators we named as Gods Vishnu,Shiva and Brahma.The one parabrahmam has already divided Himself and is the reason the religion has not created an icon for Him like it has done for the 3 Gods . You can read lot of interesting analysis in Quora which you will never get from a single Guru.

The Guru you want to select should be from your sub religion like Vaishnavism, Shaivism or Smarthism. These subgroups formed without scientific knowledge that all these Gods are from same source. Some even elevate the Guru above God. Most of the Gurus are cult heads to make a comfortable living. They are the most attached to the wealth and tell you to get detached from your wealth. Do not enter the cobweb without the armour of scientific knowledge . The Gurus will quote some comfortable sloka made by another comfort Guru and ask you to surrender fully to the Guru saying he will guide you to Vaikuntham or shivalokam even the direction to them he is not aware. If you want to practice true Hinduism read the books yourself, understand from discussions in the media,attend lectures, join satsangs and help each other. If you are destined the Guru will come looking for you.This is what Hinduism says. Jay Guru Dev

Great post on Guru, Kishore. Our scriptures say that human birth, craving for spirituality, and association with great spiritual masters(Guru) happen only through the merits acquired from the previous Births.
