Making Story Islands, our interactive podcast
"You have huge amounts of content inside you, waiting to be turned into a story. The difficult part is how do you put the bits together to turn it into that story?"
Founders Ru and Kate reveal how they made the first episode of interactive video podcast Story Islands using Stornaway and what they learned along the way.
Ru's Top Tips:?Cut on click, Progress mode or Pause at end?
Did you know there are three ways to transition between story islands?
Cut on click - the default option cuts to the next story island as soon as the viewer makes their choice
Progress mode - the viewer must watch until the end of the story island even if they have already made their choice. Untick Cut on Click and use the timer to decide how long you want your choices to be displayed onscreen for.
Pause at end - If viewers don't select an option before the end of the video, you can choose whether the video pauses at the end or runs onto a default selection of your choice.
That's all folks! We'll be back next month. If you'd like to be featured in one of our newsletters, please get in touch with details of your project to?[email protected].?
