Gulf and Tuason Racing: Top Driver Challenge

Tuason Racing, the premiere motorsports organizer in the country, recently launched with Gulf Oil Philippines the "Top Driver Challenge", a groundbreaking survival competition that pushes drivers to their limits and separate the best from the rest. This thrilling event culminates in a highly-coveted opportunity to join the Tuason Racing team and join a Le Mans style race.

The competition first started at the recent Manila International Auto Show last April, 6 at SMX Convention Center. This will be followed by:

• Round 2 – Karting Challenge on April 27, 2024 at EKart Raceway, SM North Edsa (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
• Round 3 – Basic Racing Class Challenge at Clark International Speedway (DATE TBA)
• Round 4 – Final Round at Clark International Speedway (DATE TBA)

Aside from the survival competition of Top Driver Challenge, the Top Driver Challenge E-Sports was also conducted at the MIAS, under TRS x Monza Booth.

The Top Driver Challenge survival competition is definitely not for the faint of heart. Over the course of competition, participants will face a series of challenges designed to test their driving skill, adaptability, and endurance in the most demanding conditions imaginable. From simulators trial to basic racing training contestants must navigate obstacles, outmaneuver competitors, and demonstrate unwavering determination to emerge victorious.

This competition is not just about speed – it’s about strategy, endurance, and the ability to thrive under pressure. The ultimate prize awaits the driver who can prove themselves worthy of the title of Top Driver,” said Aileen Santos, Tuason Racing VP for operations.

Registration for the Top Driver Challenge is now open and for only P 10,000. The fee will include the following challenges: Simulator Trials, Karting, and Basic Racing Class. And, if you’re lucky enough to ace your way through these challenges, you get an opportunity to be part of Tuason Racing working team, the one behind the success of Toyota Vios Cup and Formula V1 Challenge, and of course, a slot to join the TRS racing team for a local endurance race. Only the most skilled and determined drivers will earn a coveted spot in this epic competition.
