#stervosharing #guilt- best midweek day..... :) How are you doing so far? For me, it has been and will be a busy week for me with meetings..... :p
Moving forward, I do enjoy today's sharing and it comes in timely as I am a culprit it myself, plus I believe it gives us another perspective of how we can manage our expectations and learning to live in the present.... Enjoy.
Firstly, how many times do we feel guilty about something in our lives? Many a times (at least for me).... Guilt as in we had caused hurt to our loved ones unknowingly, caused our loved ones to be disappointed with us, hence they felt hurt. Guilt as in doing something bad or against what we were taught in terms of moral principles etc.. reflect upon it and you will realize how we carry guilt 'baggages' on our back unknowingly based on some of the above scenarios or experiences we been through..
So, How is it affecting our behaviours & thought process today? Do you feel 'handicapped' by this Guilt you had carried with you? Can we remove it then? Yes!! You need to work on being Focused, determined and willing to FORGIVE yourself from today onwards - I must say Forgiving yourself is very crucial... I did this process and coached myself to be free from my past guilt during the last few years. Today, I am living in a present lifestyle, enjoying what i am doing while recognising my past guilt but never allowing them to overtake the control of Who I Am today. :)
Secondly, do you feel anxious most of the time? Pressured? Not enough time? Unfortunately, these are symptoms of our Modern Digital 21st century era. We are plugged into this evolving system of Social Networking society. Hence, our behaviour changes drastically. As a result, we all feel Pressured and anxious all the time by the huge data overloading, loss of privacy and freedom plus risk of security including protecting our personal identity.... At this juncture, I would like to share that we all must be careful. Once we are feeling too anxious in our perspective of life, please seek help through coaching or other interventions. Moving into the very near future - Depression will be the number one cause of death. And how depression is formed? Through simple anxiety that is not resolved in the present. Also the inability to align oneself with the law of universe by understanding one self with law of nature..... so, do not be too anxious about the future, it is too vague. Have a Purpose in Life and take one step forward at a time, this is what I am doing now as a X gen learning to survive in digital world. The best part of this journey, I now have my wealth of experience augmented into this digital era which gives me my unique selling point (usp).
Lastly, how to live in the present? While I am not advocating to totally remove both guilt and anxiety, I would suggest to learn to be in the present by Understanding who we are, appreciate our current situation and environment. Then, using our infinite ability to creatively resolve our current situation through assessment and planning the way to move forward into the future side by side. :)
You will discover that the moment we all can live in the present, recognising and being aware of our selves, we move into a non guilty and anxious mode.... :)
