About Guilt
I went to the grocery store yesterday morning to pick up some items.?
However, after returning home, I realized I unintentionally bought a food item we shouldn't consume for health reasons.
Moreover, I had already opened the bag by mistake, so returning or donating was not an option.
I felt guilty almost all day about wasting money.?
Then, by the evening, I finally gathered enough courage to throw it away.
I felt liberated when I let it go.?
A few dollars kept bothering me all day, but then I decided to buy my peace of mind using that money instead.?

1 年Guilt is heavy. Very, very heavy. Knowing this, leadership styles that manage/persuade/manipulate through guilt, to me, is the weakest form of leadership. You may get others to do what you want, but you’ve traded your desires for their mental health. I vowed years ago- I will never lead through guilt, shame, or “gotchas”. A simple mistake, a bag of chips - and it lived in your head all day. Equate that to mistakes at work- people take that guilt home. Excellent post, Abhimanyu!
