Guiding Principal: Ownership of Quality
This is the guiding principal that I follow in my consulting:
You --
Your organization, your leadership, your team, your individual developers & testers --
should take ownership of Quality.
You should own all aspects of your software delivery, including testing, even if you are hiring outside people to help accomplish some things.
You are the one who it affects directly, who has a vested interest in it's success, and who suffers the consequences of it's failure. You are the one who best understands your customers, their needs, your business, and it's capabilities.
If you are looking to outsource this responsibility, I don't think we'd be a good fit. There are others who can take your money -- and who can deliver what you want.
I'm passionate about Quality and only want to work with others feel the same. I have skills and experience that can help you accomplish your goals, but my goals are invariably different. I want to help you build a quality product and develop quality centric processes, but I can't go off and work on my own adding a quality feature that you can plug in (or sprinkle on top of) your product.
If you'd still like to work together, I'd love to talk.
