Installation Steps

1. Open the front cover

2. Connect the controller power cord to the battery position, red wire – positive, black wire- negative

3. connect the cable to the corresponding side according to the left and right marks on the controller

4. quick connect the light to the 8-way splitter controller wires

5. Clean up the dust at the installation location, and peel off the 3 M tape at the bottom of the rock light

6. Use the zip tie to up the extra cable and hide it

To optimize user experience, please install and use the light according to the following instruction.

Warning

1. Please check if the light and the parts are intact before installation.
2. Make sure to cut off the power before installation.
3. Please do not place this light in corrosive conditions.
4. If there is any damage to the cord, please cut off the power and stop using it immediately.
5. The wrong connection may lead to the kit getting damaged. The warranty range excludes the damage caused by the wrong connection.
6. To ensure the light works properly, please use the voltage indicated on the packing.
7. To avoid any damage to the light, please do not use chemical solvents during routine maintenance.

App Control

Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone, as shown in the image below

• Launch the Magic Lantern APP
• Tap the top left corner to check if your Bluetooth controller is connected to the APP
• The “link icon” mark means successfully connected. (as following below picture)
• The “unlink icon” mark means Bluetooth is unconnected, please tap this mark to make it connected

Remote Control Instructions

Tips

1. When using the brightness and speed adjustment buttons, the product will flash a white light when it is adjusted to the limit, which means that the limit cannot be adjusted.
2. ?When using the color switch button, there are a total of 16 colors for adjustment.
3. ?Sound induction rhythm mode: After receiving the sound/vibration, the corresponding lighting effect will be produced

For Andriod phones, input music files directly from its internal storage

For iphones, input music files by using the sync setting in iTunes through PC desktop

Tips

When it’s powered, please wait 2~3 seconds, then turn on or turn off the light

Installation Tips

Use the red line to link the ACC of the vehicle

Use the black wire to connect the negative pole of the vehicle battery

You can use webbing, glue, screws, etc. to fix the Rocking Light

Installable position:

wheel hub, chassis, bumper, etc.

Please make sure that the physical key switch is turned on before using, and then use the APP or remote control to control

How to sync music to Magic Lantern APP (iPhone)?

• Download and Install iTunes on your computer
• Log on to iTunes with your Apple ID and password
• Add downloaded music files to your iTunes
• Sync your iPhone with iTunes by your computer
• iTunes’s music playlist will be automatically synced to the Magic Lantern music menu

Please note for Android phones, the songs will sync from any music APP, but for iPhone users, it only can sync to music from iTunes because of Apple’ssystem and software limitations

Tips

• The music interface is divided into three parts: external microphone, music, and internal microphone. The external microphone is adjusted by the external sound received by the controller. The internal microphone is adjusted by the external sound received by the mobile phone. Music is regulated by music played by mobile phones.
• The data is loading under voice control mode via Phone MIC on the App, and the remote control is not accessible except for the on and off functions.
• The music part of the phone can only read the songs stored locally on the phone, so it is necessary to download the songs to the local storage of the phone, exit the application and open it again, and the songs will be automatically updated to the application.
• Note:1
• The line sequence of RGB rock light is BRG by default.
• If the colors don’t match, please select”BRG” via the Modify Pin Sequence in the Settings menu. At the top right cornerof the screen,?you will find the function menu

• If the RGB light colors do not display normally, please check the Pixel’s number in Setting and set the pixel to 100.
