The Economic Alliance opens the 19th season of the Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Market, presented by Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust , kicks off this Saturday at 7:30AM! It's one of the largest markets to date, featuring entertainment, food and 200+ amazing and versatile market vendors.
This is the first time in the nearly two-decade history of the market that the market venue has the same footprint as the year before. Check out the market map and stay up to date on all market details by visiting the website or following the market's social media pages on Facebook and Instagram .
2024 Market Dates - Markets run 7:30 a.m. – Noon each of the following Saturdays:

The market?depends on dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to bring them to life. Time slots for volunteering range from 2-4 hours and allow volunteers the flexibility to help and simultaneously enjoy the market to its fullest.?Volunteers will receive a complimentary staff t-shirt to wear during their shifts and will be provided an email and electronic presentation for training and FAQs the week prior to their shift. Age requirements: We ask that volunteers be 16 years of age or older to volunteer on their own, and we welcome volunteers 12 years of age or older with adult supervision. The market venue will have vendors located on Second Avenue SE, Third Avenue SE and Fourth Avenue SE between Second Street SE and Fifth Street SE. A detailed map is attached. Participating vendors will be listed on crdowntownmarket.com website as we get closer to market day. An online vendor map that also lives on the website will show specific vendor locations. Downtown parking options will also be listed.?
Cyclists can park and lock their bikes at the Bike Valet for free at Third Ave. and Cedar River Trail at Greene Square. The Bike Valet is a collaborative effort with the Linn County Trails Association.?
The Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Market information booth will be located by Greene Square, on the corner of Third Avenue SE and Third Street SE.?

New this year, the market maps that are available at the info booth will also feature a Market Scavenger Hunt list, so that patrons of the market can check off all those iconic market staples as they stroll through the venue.?
