Guidance and the next level of inspirational PR

I was sitting last night in the Boathouse and was thinking about:

As we all read the “positive talk/inspirational” posts on different social media streams, it becomes clear that Inspiration is the new fashion; rather than an expression of personal values.

Everyone wants to inspire for the sake of leaving a legacy behind. A proverb or quote is not used anymore as in an inspirational context, it is marketing, and quite often, it will not represent the author's personal values.

People read about Visions and want to join the movement, not only because of its importance; but because of the empathetic, caring expression of the subject.

Raising awareness of the topic is crucial; Do we make sure, that we spend enough time on Mentorship and Guidance to build on the foundation for those principles?

Patience is key to success.

There are a few Pillars to consider creating a fruitful future. Besides the inspiration, it also needs:

-?????????mentorship, guidance and support (social improvement characteristics)

-?????????skillset, experience, and dedication (personal competence characteristics)

The true inspiration comes from within; without motion and willpower, it flatlines. The message is giving direction; now it is about consistency and empathy to generate motion.

Like Yin and Yang, we need a healthy balance between pillars to become a successful future-oriented society. An infinite mindset is a muscle that needs to be established within a community and practised daily.

We need to build the courage to make use of our confidence and knowledge that we can build up the new generation for success within each and every industry. Courage to stand firm for our beliefs, our values and purpose; representing integrity and authenticity.

The longevity of our mindset will show what we can achieve with patience.

The Asch Experiment

I want to point out that the Asch Experiment indicates a clear what we like to describe with group pressure, and more importantly, following successful examples around us. The key message is, don't be afraid to fail, don't be afraid to be vulnerable and say, "I don't understand". Have the courage to stand up and make a difference.

The Dunning Kruger Effect

A very similar experiment, still so different. I don't need to go through the entire Effect, important to know is, that we need to be humble enough to go through a couple of stages before we want to start guiding or mentoring.

Conclusion

Creating environments that will nurture new talents is key and requires a strong foundation. Besides enthusiasm, it also requires skill in the field and the value of doing the right thing. We need to take the pace out of becoming successful in the shortest time possible; it mostly leads to a very short period of prosperity.

We need to be able to have an open and complete conversation. Take time to rest, be resilient and be driven. Enjoy the opportunity to make mistakes as a junior, with a well-chosen mentor you can make those in a very controlled environment.

You are perfect the way you are, and you are certainly enough.

Thank you for reading.
