IMPRESSIONS OF ... NOVEMBER
short summary of our visit to Productronica 2023, for those who could not go
We return after two intense days of meetings and discussions, with our minds full of ideas, projects, and resolutions to keep in check so as not to empty our wallet pockets?
The Productronica 2023 edition was perhaps not among the most "sparkling" of recent years, but it presented a wide range of, innovations, products, and solutions for applications in sectors such as robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), automation,
but above all we could perceive the enthusiasm and passion of the operators to "be there".
Many interesting things seen, but let us start from the human aspect.
I think trade fairs are an opportunity to suspend an increasingly virtual way of relating. These are opportunities that allow you to meet people , friends, competitors, customers, suppliers, in short, live a few minutes with those who share your world and with whom you can have a stimulating discussion;
but also, an opportunity to receive and offer support, feeling close in sharing complex moments such as what the market is going through today.
Returning to what struck us, perhaps the most interesting ideas came from some innovations seen in this year's edition.
There were many companies that presented new solutions as well as "updates" of their products\services.
We greatly appreciated the higher performance of the machines and products,
but the most recent technologies and product categories that are appearing on the market and which should progress soon, give us hope.

Regarding the production of electronic boards (PCBA), what interested us most were the modern technologies for potting electronic boards, with increasingly accurate and high-performance automation, machines, and solutions
We then noticed many machines and software for performing tests, AOI optical inspections, X Ray with higher levels of precision and reliability.
Speaking of Printed Circuits (PCBs) , the different solutions for the Soldermask are interesting, with a new polymer suitable for modern deposition technologies, still in the experimental phase but already with excellent credentials and destined to replace the current technology.
Presses for multilayers process were exhibited, with much lower energy consumption;
we then appreciated new interesting LDI (Laser Direct Imaging) lines that are more efficient and flexible than previous versions.
New products are also establishing themselves in the panorama of surface finishes, designed both for more severe applications and for "green solutions".
Even among the basic materials (laminates) we have appreciated range expansions and innovations designed for increasingly rigorous fields of use or to meet growing needs in environmental issues.
What perhaps intrigued us most was the experience carried out on new eco-compatible and compostable materials (laminates) and in which it is believed there will be great interest for the regulations and general initiatives aimed at promoting environmental sustainability (RoHS ; WEEE , Energy Star, etc )
We will try to talk to you more about all these interesting topics on future occasions and perhaps promote stimulating practical experiences to develop with our customers, who are always very attentive to these topics.
