Guests raise the roof at panto’s annual VIP charity night
OnFife’s annual VIP panto show is always a highlight of the run and this year was no exception, with more than 350 guests from 12 local charities and groups coming along to enjoy Sleeping Beauty?last Thursday.
From goody bags to sweets and treats, the guests were treated like VIPs for a night to remember at the Adam Smith Theatre.
“Our VIP night is our way of sharing the excitement of panto with youngsters and adults in our community who might not otherwise be able to come along,” said Karen Taylor, OnFife Community Events & Programme Manager.
“They’re always special events and this year was a blast – the excitement and noise could have raised the roof in the theatre.”
Among the groups invited to take part were Homestart, Kinship, Raith Rovers Community Foundation, The Cottage and Scouts.
“So many people are involved in making the night a success,” Karen said. “We are very grateful to Ascot Lloyd our main sponsors of the evening for helping make it possible.
“We’d also like to thank Fife College, whose students volunteered and baked cakes and nibbles for the buffet, and the other local businesses who ensured there were plenty of treats to go around.
Chris Hodgson, Independent Financial Adviser at Ascot Lloyd (formerly Create & Prosper), said they were delighted to be associated with such a special occasion and to see how much the night was enjoyed.
The Sleeping Beauty?is on at the Adam Smith Theatre until 30 December.
