1.?????Can you tell me about the specific projects you worked on during your internship at CodeClause?
To begin with, I had to work on 4 projects. 2 of them were compulsory and the other 2 were Golden Projects out of which one was optional.
The compulsory ones included: 1. URL Shortener and 2. Alarm Clock with GUI.
The Golden projects included: 1. Voice Assistant using Python 2. Flappy Bird
?I was successful in uploading the Voice Assistant one.
I was rewarded with Extra Credits which helped me earn swags on completion of the Golden Project!
2.?????What was the primary focus of your work there?
Enhancing Python Development. The major focus was to become proficient to apply Basic Knowledge in real-world projects.
3.?????Was the internship paid or unpaid?
The internship was Unpaid. I did it for the experience. It was basically online and remote with no stipend.
4.?????How did you first hear about the opportunity at CodeClause?
I came across this opportunity via the LinkedIn network. The CodeClause actually posted it on their LinkedIn, and some of my connections had already done it. I had to fill out a form that had various domains out of which I opted for Python Internship and after shortlisting me because of my GitHub profile, I secured this internship. There was not an interview round as such.
5.?????How did your skills in Python develop during the internship?
Since it was an internship, the only prerequisites were basic skills and an understanding of python. It helped me revise and polish those skills. I learned a lot about new libraries and could even shorten code from 28 to 8 lines after that.

6.?????Can you give me an example of a particularly challenging problem you faced during the internship and how you overcame it?
There was a project which I had to work on. Earlier, it had approx. 78 lines of code and it could not run even after that, but apparently, I could shorten it to 8 lines and it worked. It was such a great feeling and definitely added to my knowledge.
7.?????Did you have the opportunity to collaborate with other interns or team members during your time at CodeClause?
No, it was an individual-oriented internship, where I had to work on the projects myself. So there was no such collaboration.
8.?????How did your internship at CodeClause contribute to your career goals?
It was a revision of my python skills. I gained more command over my existing skills.
9.?????Are there any particular skills or experiences you gained during the internship that you believe will be valuable for your future career?
Yes, I learned about the “Importance of Documentation” that comes with the code that you write. It’s a pain in the ass to go through it sometimes. But it’s really important to understand.
10.??Would you recommend this internship to others who are interested in Python development? Why or why not?
I am confident enough to say a ‘Yes’ to someone who really wants to revise and polish skills in Python.
Some other valuable pieces of advice that I would like to share:
Myth Buster: As interns, the companies do not necessarily ask for a ‘Resume’ but they do ask for your portfolios sometimes. Also, you must have a clear goal to learn and gain experience!
