If you've opened your guidebook this week you may have noticed a smattering of new share icons making it possible for people to share a Category, a Subcategory or a Topic.

It's now even easier to point even more people to the detail!


Grow your guest database, like La Bluefin

Example guide: Casa Pace e Gioia

?Heather's guidebook for Casa Pace e Gioia is a work of passion and knowledge and an eagerness for guests to get the most from their stay

I love...

??? the depth of detail (I'd be booking extra nights in the blink of an eye!) balanced with gorgeous images

??? how they've included their renovation story, including a 'before' photo

??? that they used a stunning photo to create a striking favicon (app icon) for when the guide is saved to people's phones

??? the embedded aerial video

??? that they're pointing guests to where they want reviews left, encouraging them to follow their social media channels and sign up to their newsletter

If there's one thing I'd do... Use Google Places Topics to enter each of the restaurants, so that they're all then pinned automatically to the map, including directions for those who want them
