Guess who just got Served a ‘Cease & Desist’ by The King's Counsel? THIS GUY!!!!!!

For the last 6 months while Manaaki have publicly promised restoration led with Aroha and true Manaaki to the victims of their now well documented bad behaviour, they continue to do EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE behind closed doors where they think no one is watching - and right on cue to further cement this point - I finally received an Official Cease & Desist from The King's Counsel who’s representing Manaaki and their Directors Pat MacFie, Monty Betham and Andy Hamilton.?
A QUESTION FOR THE KINGS COUNSEL & WE ARE MANAAKI / WE ARE INDIGO?
How do you POSSIBLY think this is going to end well for you now by legally threatening me for telling THE TRUTH in defence of the innocent Founders that you did wrong? And how will this strategically amateur move of yours further damage your public ‘optics’ of your promised ‘restorative process’ that you’ve tried to craft publicly - while you continue to legally threaten people like me privately. Gummmonnnn!

HOW ABOUT THIS FOR A SIMPLE SOLUTION?
1. You publicly apologise to the Founders and all those you affected?
2. You clear off these Maori and Pasifika Founders legal bills?
3. WE ALL MOVE ON!!!!!!?
I’ve simply been asking you to do what you promised you’d do for the last 6 months - to make it right and apologise to the Founders - But instead of that, you’re now threatening me with proceedings and sending me legal requests asking me to provide you with a complete list of my NZ assets that you can try and sue me for? BRUHHH!!!!
Do you NOT realise how HORRENDOUSLY SHIT this is making all 4 of you look? I’ll give you a hint - it’s EVEN WORSE than you already do!
Here’s the thing you STILLLLLLL don’t seem to realise as your whole team keeps digging further legally into your unwinnable hole of intimation and bad actions :
‘You can’t legally protect yourself from the truth’.?
And boy do the streets ALLLLLL now know the truth about what Manaaki actually has been up to behind the scenes, the truth of how Manaaki have treated some of their staff, other Founders and other Partners, the truth about Pat MacFie and Andy Hamilton’s documented lies to secure over 5 million dollars of taxpayers money from Creative NZ, and the real truth of how you all really roll when the camera’s aren’t rolling and you ‘think’ no one’s watching or talking.
But serious Q - Is this all worth it for me personally and professionally??
Is it worth risking all that I have standing up so publicly calling out these business bullies and fighting for the multiple innocent Maori & Pasifika Founders who were wronged and STILL have not received a simple apology or ANY justice whatsoever including any of their legal bills paid??1,000,000,000%%%%%%.?
The reality is this….. I am Māori - I am a Founder - I have a Platform - and I’m built for this. I’m PROUDLY from Aranui, Christchurch with the blood of Ngati Porou flowing through my veins, and I’m coming for allllllllllll the smoke!!!
With the truth behind me - I SERIOUSLY DO NOT GIVE A SHIT WHO’S IN FRONT OF ME!??
I’ve had these Founders backs from Day 1 and they have had mine.
So to all my friends, Founders, Startup crew, industry supporters, and the tonnes of legendary humans in the back channels who’ve all had my back as I’ve gone to bat for these Founders - I truly truly truly truly truly appreciate allllll of your support, comments, calls, emails, DM’s texts and messages. While I’m on the topic of legal action.?I’m not a King’s Counsel but I do have some serious legal advice (common sense) to pass back to your client - Manaaki and in particular one of its Directors Andy Hamilton. Quick tip. Maybe Andy SHOULD NOT be publicly posting about that fully confidential Auditor General's enquiry that’s currently underway, even discussing its scope and timings to the masses so publicly on social media for all to see. Yeah - Maybe that wasn’t such a smart idea Andy. You know the Auditor General also has access to the internet right.
Finally, how do you think this will play out in the coming months when you’re trying to defend yourself against Vic Crone, the Ex CEO of Callaghan Innovation who you did wrong but then are simultaneously trying to sue me for doing right? But then what you miss is it’s fair to say Johnny Borland from Isacorp who completed the Due Diligence reports that was verified by the witnesses themselves and even EY probably has a huge amount of grounds to ALSO sue you for defamation alongside Vic. And then kicker - you also may not realised yet is that I can ALSO genuinely sue you all personally for gaslighting and defaming me to my employer, media and even the whole industry with your multiple documented press releases and shareholder updates which you all signed publicly, which were fictitious and damaging to me and my ‘career’? Quite the strategic pickle you’ve just snookered yourself into here team.?
I’m not your lawyer - but maybe it’s time you FINALLY just stop all the bullshit - and do publicly what you’d say you’d do publicly -?‘make it right with the Founders’?- and then you can all try to move on with your lives and future careers with some type of genuine learning, humility and grace.

1 年Been following Robertt - the thruth will set us all free. If theres nothing to hide then give full disclosure- surely the public have a right to know where the moneys gone ? Right or wrong at the very least this all deseves exposure and honesty at all levels. “When good men do nothing ….” Keep pealing back the layers mate - this is very interesting.

1 年Legend, I've dealt with similar people you have mention in the Startup/Founder type off company in Hamilton.(She/him/They) have left and joined another company offering the same services.......?! I've always wondered why I couldn't get my patented product too market, and I've always wondered why it went pear shape after I've refused to give away my mayor share of my company to some off the main peanuts in control of the company in Hamilton? Too late to cry now over spilled milk, good luck to the current founders that's almost been taken for a ride. I salute you Robett Hollis, we have been in contact in the pass.
