London Daily Digital has launched, with new offices on Fleet Street. The title offers a monthly print edition priced at £4.99 (but free initially) as well as daily page-turning digital edition and website. The founder Azeez Anasudhin said he is on a mission to revitalise Fleet Street’s journalistic heritage – to focus on getting scoops and write news, not getting views by doing clickbait journalism. He aims to generate revenue through advertising and event sponsorship.

Guardian Media Group’s new strategic partnership with OpenAI will make the Guardian’s reporting and archive journalism available as a news source within ChatGPT. Alongside, offering attributed summaries and article extracts. The Guardian also plans to leverage ChatGPT Enterprise for new products and tools, reflecting its thoughtful approach to AI integration. This move supports ‘world-class journalism and enriches the ChatGPT experience’.

Instagram is trialling a new downvote arrow, giving users a way to privately signal when they find comments and content overly negative or harmful to their in-app experience. According to Instagram chief Adam Mosseri, the data may eventually be used to influence comment rankings, pushing disliked comments lower down and reducing the visibility of anything users don’t wish to see.
