We were delighted to welcome Minister Peter Burke to the Guaranteed Irish office to discuss new plans to work with the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment on behalf of our 2,500 members who contribute €14.2 billion to the Irish economy and support 150,000 jobs in communities across Ireland. ?

?We delivered the following key requests on behalf of our members:

1. Increased weighting for licensed Guaranteed Irish registered businesses in public procurement.
2. Inclusion of Guaranteed Irish members in relevant overseas trade missions.
3. Support for family businesses concerning Capital Gains Tax (CGT) changes.
4. Access to funding for ongoing training and mentoring, particularly in digital marketing and evidence-based research to drive innovation and expand into new markets.
5. Implementation of sustainability education for all members through our focused and affordable sustainability roadmap for businesses.

In return, we extended an invitation to the Government to partner with us in launching a longer, more impactful national campaign to encourage the public to support Guaranteed Irish businesses.

Volunteering with the ISPCA

Celebrating International Dog Day, August 26th.

We spent a day volunteering at the ISPCA and we didn't arrive empty handed to the Wicklow shelter thanks to HARLEY & MARLEY. Volunteering at animal shelters or with rescue organisations can make a significant impact. Volunteers provide much-needed care, socialisation, and attention to dogs awaiting adoption, helping to improve their chances of finding a forever home.
