The State Government awarded a contract to the petitioner for providing healthcare kitchen and dietary services in State Government hospital. The petitioner had submitted a bid with a GST registration but it was cancelled by GST Authorities. Upon knowing the same, the State Government cancelled the contract awarded to the petitioner and blacklisted it for two years. The petitioner filed a writ petition against the same. ? ? ?
The Honorable High Court observed that in view COVID-19 situation and taking a compassionate view, the Appellate Authority of GST Department restored the petitioner's registration. At a time when the impugned order was passed, the entire basis for State Government's grievance with the petitioner that GST Department had cancelled its registration stood resolved under the directions of the GST Appellate Authority. Therefore, the State Government was to be directed to reconsider its decision to blacklist petitioner. ? ? ?
The Government approved the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Automobile and Auto Component Industry in India for enhancing India’s Manufacturing Capabilities for Advanced Automotive Products. ? ? ? ? ?
The PLI Scheme for Automobile and Auto Component Industry in India has been successful in attracting proposed investment of Rs. 74,850 crore against the target estimate of investment Rs. 42,500 crore over a period of five years. The proposed investment of Rs. 45,016 crore is from approved applicants under Champion OEM Incentive Scheme and Rs. 29,834 crore from approved applicants under Component Champion Incentive Scheme.
