Bethel, Conn., May 03, 2023 -- Global Search Solutions, LLC (“GSS”), an executive recruitment and assessment firm that is solely focused on the Life Science industry, today announced the arrival of Peter Kaplan and the promotions of David Merrill and William “Mac” Morlock.

Peter S. Kaplan joins GSS as the Senior Vice President, Recruitment & Client Engagement Lead. Peter brings to GSS over three decades of expertise in executive search and advisory services, specifically within the Life Sciences industry. His unique blend of experience includes robust tenures in prominent search firms and within the Talent Acquisition organization of a leading, rare disease focused biopharmaceutical company. Along the way he has established a track record as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates alike and has amassed an enviable record of executive and C-suite leadership placements, which have been central to the development of leading biopharmaceutical companies and their delivery of profound scientific innovations and breakthrough therapies for patients.

In joining GSS, Peter will focus on supporting and further cultivating alliances with the firm’s diverse constellation of clients, both biopharmaceutical companies and life sciences enterprises. Additionally, he will strategically guide executive search initiatives and help mentor the firm’s growing team.

David Merrill joined GSS in January 2011 and has held a series of ascending posts, culminating in his promotion to Vice President & Recruiting Lead. David has been an integral member of GSS for over a decade, during which time he’s contributed to and/or led numerous successful search initiatives.

William “Mac” Morlock joined GSS in January 2020 as a Project Coordinator, wherein he provided research and project management support to GSS search initiatives. With his promotion to Director & Recruiting Lead, Mac will now dedicate his time to providing recruitment services to search assignments.
