Meta wrapped up its exclusive Creator Day on 30 September 2022 in Mumbai. As the preferred partner of META, the top Influencer marketing agency , Grynow had the privilege of witnessing the event live. Our executives itee chopra and her team had a blast interacting with your favorite creators, and we would like to share the proceedings of the event as and when they happened. Right from the start, the event set the bar of expectations high, with two popular creators, Barkha Singh and Ayush Mehra, welcoming more than 500 creators with their light-hearted humor. They also shared an update on the plethora of activities lined up for the day before inviting META India's vice president Ajit Mohan to take the stage.
?Mr. Ajit Mohan applauded the Creators for the work they do every day. He also emphasized the company's efforts to create products that bring out the best in Creators. Amongst these was the one-minute music that allowed creators to drop original songs for reels.

Mr. Ajit Mohan also presented an Easter egg by announcing five more Creator days in cities across India this year. Furthermore, he promised to find more ways for creators to come together and celebrate the collaboration.?

Later in the segment, Mr. Ajit Mohan addressed Meta's investment in creator education as part of the company's creator enablement problem. Any creator from any corner of India can access the learning modules for free and become a certified Meta Creator.

Before ending his monumental speech, the Vice President of Meta India Welcomed to the stage a personality who got the audience standing on their feet and reaching for their phones. He introduced the Indian megastar Ranveer Singh who was met with roars of cheers from the crowd. The artist came out rapping to the hit number "Apna time Aayega" which enthralled the audience to groove along to the beats. Following his electrifying performance, Ranveer Singh had a heart-to-heart with the creators, celebrating them for touching millions of lives with their content daily.?
"Ladies and gentlemen, today is about you, all the creators. I am here to congratulate you all; you all have affected, molded, shaped, dare I say, become the culture. That's right, you are the culture, and you did it on your own….and with no handouts, my man, no handouts, did it on your own love you all. You guys are killing it you are killing it…Every day entertaining people, putting smiles on people's faces, spreading Joy, sharing connecting, and radiating your light upon others it's amazing. Applause for you all and everything that you do share your lives with us." - Ranveer Singh
The actor also talked about the impact of social media and thanked meta for giving artists a platform to showcase their talents.
Before leaving, Ranveer gave yet another hearty performance by dancing to "Jinklo", a song by Mumbai influencer - Just Neel Things. The actor was joined on stage by Neel, Ruhee Dosani, Focused Indian, Sidhant Sarfare, Saurabh Ghadge, Kili Paul, and many more.
Ranveer Singh had done a good job of energizing the crowd before Barkha and Ayush introduced the next guest of the event, who was none other than Nicola Mendelsohn. The crowd welcomed the Vice President of the Global Business Group Meta with the funky beats of "Kala Chashma".
Nicola Mendelsohn talked at length about her experience in India, the contribution of the Indian community to make Reels a success, and what the future holds for meta creators.
Mrs. Nicola Mendelsohn dubbed Indian creators as cultural carriers for setting standards for the world with their passion, energy, and talent. She also displays gratitude for how creators use reels to provide valuable information on multiple topics.?

Moving forward, Metaverse for business was another topic that Mrs. Nicola Mendelsohn discussed during the event. She talked about how different creators can use the space to create digital products, provide services, share experiences and create entire worlds. Nicola also spoke about how creators and brands use AR and VR in fun and innovative ways.?
Mrs. Nicola also addresses the current application of AR and VR technologies by brands and creators and how it will only grow to be more innovative and fun as Metaverse draws closer.

The event was lined with exciting sessions like What's new?, Mythbusting, You went viral now what?, brand ban Gaya frands, The world of BOI, Reel Editing Masterclass, Launch your line etc. - headed by some top creators. The speaker lineup consisted of Ashish Chanchlani, Jannat Jubair, Saransh Goila, Saurabh Gadge, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh and many more.
Our representative Miss itee chopra Chopra had the pleasure of interacting with Kili Paul, Daniel Mac, Niharika NM, Ruhee Dosani, Nikunj Lotia, and other national, international, and regional influencers.
In one of the "Creators Kahaniya" sessions, many creators got together to share their success stories and tips for growth. They talked about the breakout videos and shared secrets on how that deal with burnout. They also encourage budding creators not to let trolls affect their mindset, urging them to focus on their content and audience.
Moving on, the event had workshops where creators received insights on how to crack collaborations, the importance of streaming and reel Content, and how to attract partnerships from top brands in the best way.
Maybelline, the event's official sponsor, showcased its brand-new product range. Influencers were free to try them out and take them too as souvenirs.
Overall the event was a massive success. Every creator, irrespective of the number of followers, received the same love and affection from their peers. Meta had lively conversations with everyone, took valuable inputs, and promised more creator-focused innovations in the future.
