Grumpy Grandpa's Rant
You? have pared it to the bone ...
This life
Sold your home
Divorced your wife
You watch the news
It scares you to think
'Cos the more you watch
The deeper you sink
Yeah life is unfair but what the heck can you do?
You’re just a cog in a giant machine
You hold no particular view
But you hate politicians
Despise celebrities too
You got less time for lesbians and gays?
What’s up with an old-fashioned screw?
Back in the day, they had answers
To poverty, war, and greed
Now you drift off to Walmart for more of the stuff you don't need
Your working days are over?
Retirement has begun
Over in California, life was way more fun
Now the immigrant tide is turning
Blurring the red, white, and blue
You watch them crowd the Medicare lines
Stealing your place in the queue
You've given up on your broken world
But you have one solution to offer
Hand the reins to 'Ghengis Khan'
And let the fuckers suffer
