GRR- Goods Receipt Reversal After Put Away in EWM-Part1
Dear All
This blog is to explain you how to post goods receipt reversal even after put-away is confirmed for the EWM IBD.
Normally SAP does not allow to reverse goods receipt from EWM if put away has already been confirmed. SAP EWM sets delivery status DCO to 9 for items, 9 means completed.
System won't allow you to do confirmation correction as well, because of the same reason, DCO status set to 9.
now question is- if there is a need to reverse goods receipt after put away is done, then how we can process GRR.
There are few system settings that we need to perform to allow EWM to post GRR after final put away. All the needed system setup, I will document in the next part of this blog.
After changes have been done, below is how system will react once we try to post GRR after final put away.
I will cancel GRN for below IBD for which GR and put away both are completed.
Important point to consider here is, DCO status is now set to 1 after configuration changes.
system won't allow you to do full GR cancelation in one shot at header level.

You need to correct confirmation at WO item levels.
I created new IBD with 2 items to see how to correct confirmation for all items together.
You can correct the QTY for each item- of course, you can set QTY as zero if you need to fully reverse the GRN.
This works perfect. System was able to post 102 MVT and it got updated at S4 side.
What is the different system setup and how DCO status will be set to 9 - completed and other details, I will cover in the next part of the blog.
Thanks for reading and your time.
