Social media marketing is the process of analyzing social media audiences and developing a strategy that is tailored to them, creating and distributing content for social media profiles.
To start on the right foot, the following has to be done.
Conducting a social media audit is more like a check list, it will give you a clearer picture of the effectiveness of your strategy, it will help you to know exactly where you are wasting your resources, it will also show you which social media channels are bringing you results, it will also demonstrate the impact of social media on your web result.
There are different ways to perform social media audit, they are;
After conducting the audit, it will help you know where your audience is and what they want. You will get to know the platforms that work and those that don’t work. If your results aren’t that great and your audience is somewhere else, you might want to consider shifting your resources to a different channel.
