What made you join Terra Motors?

I joined Terra Motors in 2018. Before that, I worked as a design and analysis engineer at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). At the time of joining Terra Motors, I had approximately six years of working experience. Before joining Terra, I was well aware of Terra Motors and its operations in India, the work culture, which is primarily Japanese, and the quality standards involved in making EV products in India.

I was thrilled to become a part of the Terra team and took on the role of assistant manager. My skills and experience aligned perfectly with the job I obtained at Terra, and from 2018 onwards, I began working on the design and development of high-speed 3-wheelers.

How have your journey and growth been at Terra Motors since you joined?

I began my journey with Terra as an Assistant Manager in Analysis. Initially, my role involved the analysis of mechanical components for 3-wheelers using the robust software ANSYS. Over time, I expanded my expertise to include electric vehicle testing and integration. Our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) was a strong advocate of continuous learning, and under his guidance, I further developed my knowledge and skills at Terra.

In 2020, I transitioned to the role of manager in Terra Motors' Research and Development (R&D) department. I was entrusted with leading the entire team, which initially consisted of 15-20 members. We quickly grew to around 30 members as our projects and team expanded. Our R&D team successfully developed numerous 3-wheeler vehicle models for the Indian market, and I had the privilege of leading the development of all these models.

One significant achievement during this period was the launch of our FAME-II model in the Indian market, marking a significant milestone for both me and my team. In 2023, Terra Motors recognized my contributions and promoted me to the role of senior manager in R&D. My responsibilities toward Terra and the team continue to grow with each passing day.
