Dear Friends,

February was a month of action and impact at PND! From empowering young women with essential life skills to celebrating the generosity of dedicated donors and volunteers, we’re excited to share everything we’ve accomplished this past month. These moments of progress and connection remind us why we do what we do—creating opportunities for women and girls to gain knowledge, confidence, and the tools to shape their own futures.

Black & Veatch Workshop: Claim Your Rights

We recently?hosted the Claim Your Rights workshop for 565 girls across five schools in northeast Thailand, thanks to the generous support of Black & Veatch Foundation. This one-time training workshop focused on equipping students with the essential skills they need to stay safe and advocate for themselves in an increasingly complex world.

Participants learned how to

• recognize and avoid harassment
• identify dangerous situations both offline and online
• protect themselves from job and human trafficking scams

The training also covered women’s rights and laws in Thailand, basic self-defense techniques, and strategies for maintaining mental well-being when facing victimization.?

The knowledge these young women gained will help them navigate their futures with greater confidence and security.

A special thank you to the Black & Veatch representatives who joined us in the sessions! Your presence reinforced the importance of community partnerships and showed the girls that they have a strong network of supporters cheering them on.

OVOLPE Workshop: Prevention of Danger

With the support of the OVOLPE Foundation, we reached 366 girls across four schools through our Better Me for Girls: Claim Your Rights workshop series. This initiative spanned four sessions, ensuring that participants had a deeper and more sustained engagement with the material.

The final session?provided a comprehensive review of all key learnings from the program. Throughout the series, students participated in hands-on activities covering violence prevention, digital safety, self-defense techniques, and legal rights. The interactive format encouraged open discussions and allowed participants to build confidence in applying what they had learned.

Key takeaways from the workshop series:?

• 77% of participants had experienced or witnessed violence before attending, underscoring the urgent need for this training.
• Post-workshop test scores jumped from 54.43% to 96.44%, demonstrating a remarkable improvement in awareness and understanding.
• 97.5% of participants reported feeling more confident in recognizing and responding to danger, a crucial step in their long-term safety and empowerment.

Heartfelt Farewell:?Dedicated?Volunteer, Chantal

This month, we said?farewell to Chantal, a remarkable volunteer who has been an incredible part of the PND family. Over her time with us, Chantal devoted countless hours to supporting our mission, helping to create a safe, empowering space for our students. Her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment have left a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for everything she has contributed.

While we will miss her deeply, we know that her passion for education and empowerment will continue to inspire others wherever she goes. Thank you, Chantal, for your generosity and dedication!

Access to menstrual products is a?basic necessity, yet many women and girls struggle to afford or access them. HER Period Dignity Organization is dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding menstrual hygiene and ensuring that every woman has what she needs to manage her period with dignity.
