Growth on all fronts—2018 year in review
Dear friends,
A belated happy new year! I hope you enjoyed a peaceful festive break and are fresh and ready for what the new year has to offer. At GoodAI Applied we hope to keep our momentum and build on the great successes of 2018.
Growing team = growing business
Last year was the first year that GoodAI Applied turned a profit (and a double-digit one at that!) We have had steady revenue growth and managed to take on over 30 projects with 10 clients.
To keep up with this growing demand we have almost doubled our staff and created a strong team with skills in machine learning and data sciences, as well as business development and management. This unique mixture of skills allowed us to deliver our projects to a high-level at all stages and for this, I am particularly proud of my team.
We have formed a tight partnership with ?KODA AUTO DigiLab collaborating with them on a number of projects, including designing and implementing a state-of-the-art sound analysis solution.
We have also developed fruitful relationships with CGI and Softec and designed and implemented technical solutions for multitude of small, medium and large enterprises.
Projections for 2019
This year we intend to continue scaling up by growing our team as well as offering new professional services. We will also continue to optimize our own processes ensure we can provide the best services possible to our clients.
As we continue to grow we are still looking to add skilled individuals to our team to support the key areas we work in: natural language processing, image and sound analysis, and data science. At the moment we are specifically looking for Business Analysts, Software Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, NLP Engineers, and Testers.
2019 is already shaping up to be a busy year; our sales forecast suggests that we will at least double our business and I feel my team is in an excellent position to continue this growth. I hope that 2019 is another successful year and wish you the best for the year to come!
