It is far easier to increase the spend of existing clients than it is to sign new clients. This is true in so many industries. Cleaning is one of them.?

The secret to growing the top and bottom line at the same time is to help your clients spend more money each time. While increasing the number of times (frequency) that they purchase.

One of the best ways that I’ve seen to do this, is having a loyalty program. Loyalty programs are everywhere. About 70% of the time they contribute to buying decisions. Here is an example of one that a client used very successfully.


Clean Rewards Program

  • Earn 1 point for every $1 spent on cleaning services
  • Points can be redeemed for discounts or free add-ons:

  • Bronze Tier: 0-999 points
  • Silver Tier: 1000-2499 points
  • Gold Tier: 2500+ points

3. Bonus Points

  • Double points on 5th and 10th cleanings
  • 100 bonus points for referring a new customer
  • 50 bonus points for booking online
  • Birthday bonus: 100 points during birthday month

4. VIP Events

  • Exclusive access to VIP customer appreciation events
  • Early access to new services and promotions
  • Special gifts and surprises

5. Enrollment

  • Automatic enrollment after first cleaning service
  • Easily manage points and rewards through online customer portal or mobile app

Here's a sample spreadsheet template for tracking client rewards in a cleaning business loyalty program:





  1. Client Name: The full name of the client
  2. Email: The client's email address for communication and marketing purposes
  3. Phone: The client's phone number for contact purposes
  4. Join Date: The date the client enrolled in the loyalty program
  5. Points Balance: The current number of reward points the client has accumulated
  6. Loyalty Tier: The client's current loyalty tier (e.g., Bronze, Silver, Gold)
  7. Last Service Date: The date of the client's most recent cleaning service
  8. Last Service Amount: The amount spent on the client's most recent cleaning service
  9. Lifetime Spend: The total amount the client has spent on cleaning services since joining the loyalty program
