It's been a busy month at Delta Dental of North Carolina, and we are thrilled to highlight all of the exciting activities we've been involved in!

All Associates Meeting

A priority for our team is to gather quarterly to discuss business updates. This summer, we were especially excited to bring our team together at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh. After lunch, our team enjoyed a scavenger hunt around the museum and had a chance to visit the interactive and immersive Dueling Dinosaurs exhibit. This exhibit houses the world’s first complete Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops fossils which are being studied in an onsite working paleontology lab - all right there on display for all to see. Delta Dental of North Carolina is proud to be the "official" teeth cleaning sponsor of the Dueling Dinos - after all, we DIG 67-million-year-old teeth!

Team Values – Having Fun

Our all-associates meeting setting reflects one of our core values of Having Fun, and naturally this team embraced just that! The scavenger hunt brought out the playful and competitive nature of us all as we raced around the four floors of the museum to answer some pretty tricky clues from flora and fauna to arthropods, gemstones, and ancient fossils - no questions were off the table. Congratulations to the highest-scoring team - the Monarch Butterflies!

Highlighting important messages with community partners

We enjoy amplifying key topics related to oral and overall health through our partnership with CBS 17 My Carolina. They work with our team to spotlight various health topics and community partners each month and most recently we had the opportunity to talk about the significance of healthy vision with Dr. Marino of Triangle Visions Optometry. Did you know that we provide the option for both dental AND vision benefits? At Delta Dental of North Carolina, we LOVE your whole face!
