Growing imperfections : Future perfections

Our best work isn’t perfect. It’s the imperfections in our work that enable it to be great because seeking perfection doesn't move us forward, it holds us back!
Flaws, typos, spellcheck, rough edges, slight angled looks, unedited copy all make our life worth making improvements towards perfections, because unless you are imperfect you have lost the track to perfection. Your imperfections stand out as 'out of norms' "OOS (Out of Specifications) in our Pharma parlance, but perfection makes you follow the norms and hence is not interesting anymore. Revealing your imperfections does not draw people away from you, on the other hand it draws people to you as all our struggles towards perfection is loved by the audience or the readers.
Imagine if the whole world was just perfect it would be so boring, who would go to visit the leaning tower of Pisa if it was not leaning? How would the world look like if there were no curves or ups and downs but all straight lines and right angled streets like in Manhattan, New York City all avenues and streets are in right angles, how very boring although they look perfect. In today's world we all long for imperfections even while dressing up it is the era of 'mismatch' of colours which makes it look so attractive rather than simple matching clothes top to bottom.
Our quest for excellence stops once we have achieved perfection. We can go on doing things perfectly repeatedly but that excellence achieved has been evolved through years of practice and perseverance. Practice makes not quite perfect but I would say 'fluently' closer to perfection. Your mind is like a muscle and the more you train it the easier you can use it. When you, for example have never drawn a sketch, you will find even holding the pencil hard, but as you continue your mind will recognise how it has to use your muscles to use this pencil. It’s the same with everything. Your mind and body just strengthen their connection through practice and so for many this looks like it’s perfect.
We all are always evolving as a better human beings. You must upgrade yourself to be a better version of yourself, as everything around us is getting better. But the majority of humans seem to think that they are the best. That is not true. Look around you and you will see all these gadgets like the mobile phones, the cars, the planes, and countless other things are all getting better year after year. But people remain the same year upon year. Through action, personal development, self-education and continuous learning, you can truly reach your full potential and become a better version of yourself but may not be the perfect one.
Let us look at it this way, who you really are, your essential Self, is already perfect, so practices do not make you perfect. Practices help you perceive your perfection, they help you experience and understand your perfection. There are many practices, but they are best taught from your Guru. We may be working hard on improvements on our work done earlier so that could improvise the same. But let’s address this notion that practice makes perfect. It seems to be one of those things we believe in just because we have heard it literally everywhere, and it is used as a tool to motivate people to work harder and to improve themselves that is all about it. Therefore lead an imperfect life today so that you can improve yourself towards perfection one day. Stay blessed ! #kishoreshintre
