Growing with Allsec: A Journey of Personal and Professional Development

My experience at Allsec can be best described as nothing short of colourful. Throughout my 8+ years here in Allsec, I have had my share of ups and downs, but with the extensive support that I have received from my seniors and colleagues, it has been absolutely easy to overcome any challenge that came my way. I take pride in stating that although I started as a novice, I have now become an Operations Manager. I am extremely grateful to my colleagues for helping me through my journey.

What started as a small group in the campaign, has grown tremendously over the years. I’ve seen an increase in terms of the number of employees; most of them have stayed in the company for a continued tenure because Allsec knows how to take care of and appreciate their employees.

I am a testament to the fact that Allsec is true to their mantra “Building lasting relationships”. I’ve seen and experienced how they really treat their employees with fairness and dignity. It doesn’t matter if you are a newbie in the industry or one with experience. I admire Allsec for creating an atmosphere that is true to its values.

My biggest achievement in Allsec is my growth - I started as a Novice and now I am an Operations Manager.

Setbacks are normal in a career. I overcame it by looking for solutions instead of dwelling on the problem or challenge, and also, with the support of my colleagues and Allsec management, it was easy for me to overcome it.

The most important attribute that has been instrumental in my success is the work culture. When you are at work, it doesn’t feel like you are working. Employees enjoy being around one another as we are like a family. Most of the employees are comfortable with each other.

The single advice that I would give to my younger self is to be more confident. I started as a novice, and I was really shy to express myself because I was afraid that I might be wrong or that my ideas would be rejected. So, I would tell myself and everyone who is starting fresh - do not be afraid to make mistakes as mistakes contribute to the growth of every individual.

I envision myself creating more future leaders who can contribute to the growth of the company and simultaneously handle their own campaigns.
